Notlar Letter in Hebrew appealing for financial help. Opens with three shorter lines of Bible quotation (Proverbs 13:7; Ecclesiastes 8:14; 7:15). The writer claims to be well travelled, well known and have the highest connections (ספרי ואגרותי כי כלם בשם המלך). His family is known in Aleppo, Al-Mawṣil (Mosul, called אשור), and Baghdad (called עדינה). Verso contains a list in Judaeo-Arabic, mostly of names and households, in a cruder hand. Conserved the wrong way round.
