Notlar	Account book of an anonymous merchant, recording his income and expenditure, including both the purchase of merchandise and donations to the poor. It also has a glossary of words in Judaeo-Arabic and (Judaeo-)Turkish (Turkish written in Hebrew characters), separated into two columns, probably as an aid to learning to communicate in Turkish. There is also a list of hafṭarot for Genesis and the beginning of Exodus, a partial letter in Judaeo-Arabic. The owner of the notebook was probably an agent in Alexandria for one of the European consuls, probably for the Venetian consul, given the number of words in Italian. A date of Sivan (spelled ציון) of the year 77 is preserved, which is perhaps 1617 CE, although this is tentative. It mentions Alexandria and Būlāq (in Cairo).
