Notlar	Accounts in Judaeo-Arabic, beginning with the basmala, which is followed by the heading 'Clothing register for the poor', and bears the date 1451 Seleucid era (= 1139-1140 CE). The following list comprises names on the right-hand side, against which is written the item the individual has been given. Abū ʿAlī b. Barūk was given a muqaddir (?), while Abū l-Surūr al-Šomer b. Tībūs was given a šiqqa (an oblong piece of cloth). (F. 1r). All of the following recipients were given a jūḵāniya (possibly related to a jūḵa, which is a cloak with sleeves). Those who received this latter item include: (F. 1r) Amrāt al-Ḥalaba; Ḵilāl, husband of bint Hidāya (?); (F. 1v) Nahīr b. al-Nāqid; Ḥammāt […] b. al-Nāqid; Abū ʿAlī l-Ḥalabī; Umm Ḵalaf ('who used to serve rabbi […]'); Abū l-Ḥasan al-Bustānī; Abraham al-Jadd; Yūsuf Zaʿfrān (?) al-Rūmī; (F. 2r) Amrāt […] al-Baqqāl; ʿAlī l-Parnas Abraham; Amrāt Wafā b. al-Nāqid; Yehūdī l-Raqqāṣ; Abū Naqīya; Amrāt Hassūn al-Warrāq; (F. 2v) Amrāt Abraham al-Qašāšī; Amrāt al-Jadd al-Ḥaffār; Yiḥye l-A[…]; Ḥammāt Naqīya. Mīm (in isolated form) is written on top of some of the names. It may be an abbreviation of tasallum 'receipt' (i.e. paid) or mustalim 'recipient'. This fragment belongs with T-S NS J293(b), (c), and (d).
