Notlar	Recto: Text opens after basmala: جعلت فداك واطال الله بقاك و ادام عزك و كرامتك وتم نعمته عليك وزاد في احسانه اليك في الدنيا و الاخرة برحمته. The main body of the letter begins: "كتابي اليك ونا في حال". The writer asks the addressee to find out some information concerning somebody who is not replying to his letters. The request formula is: فان كنت عازم فافعل. Closes with the conveyance of greetings to various people and finally with the blessings that it opened with. The address of the letter is written above the basmala, upside down relative to the text of the letter: لابي علي ... من محمد بن عبد الله. Verso: Opens after basmala: جعلت فداك واطال الله بقاك. The main body of the letter opens: كتابي اليك اعزك الله عن سلامة. Mentions profit (الربحة) and tithes (اعشار), also commercial/administrative dealings (المعاملة). Closes with the conveyance of greetings to various people.
