Notlar	Bifolium from a legal notebook of the Fusṭāṭ Bet Din, containing three separate deeds. The first (f. 1r-v) is dated Thursday 5th of Kislev 1409 Sel. (= November 1097 CE), and its first line states it 'pertains to [the case of] Joseph al-Ṭarābulusī with the trader Ibn Suḡmār'. The parties are David b. Joseph and Joseph b. David, known as Ibn אלבדיה (but it has been corrected, and may have read al-Ḥurriyya, אלחריה, but probably just a mistake for אללבדי, which is what it reads on ff. 2r-v, or אללבדיה, al-Lebdiyya, 'the Lebdīs', which is what we can find in other documents, e.g. Add.3418). Others mentioned are: Abū Zikrī Judah 'Brilliance of the Academy' (behir ha-yešiva, בהיר הישיבה) b. Moses, and Moses the judge b. Labrāṭ 'Head of the Scholars' (reš be rabbanan, ריש בי רבנן). It concerns the sale of coral (מרגאן). It finishes halfway down f. 1v, leaving the rest of the page blank. The scribe is Hillel b. ʿEli, and the witnesses are Abraham b. Jacob and Solomon ha-Kohen b. Joseph Av. F. 2r contains a legal document that has been crossed through with three vertical lines. It is dated Monday 3rd of Nisan 1409 Sel. (= March 1098 CE). It involves the same parties (David b. Joseph who is known as Ibn Suḡmār and Joseph b. David who is known as al-Lebdī). It relates to the same case concerning coral. It breaks off unfinished and unsigned. F. 2v contains a settlement of the dispute, dated Monday 3rd of Nisan 1409 Sel. (= March 1098 CE), with the signatures of the scribe, again Hillel b. ʿEli, and Isaac b. Samuel, Abraham b. Nathan Av ha-Yešiva, Netanʾel b. Yefet, and, at the very bottom, Abraham b. Šemaʿya the Ḥaver, descendant of Šemaʿya Gaʾon.
