Notlar Formerly Ethé 863. Ms. acquired by Warren Hastings. It is bound in a modern red half-morocco binding. There are various seals, one an effaced royal seal and one recording the gift to Qasim Beg in Dhu'l-Hijja 971/July 1564 (f. 1r); another has the name Hasan Muhammad Shirazi, dated 967/1560.The ms. opens with a fine illuminated double title-page (ff. 1v-2r), for the start of the Baysunghuri preface, and there are further illuminated headings at f. 13v (start of the poem) and 270v (start of the reign of Luhrasp). Robinson has identified the work of two artists, painter A (the first 10 paintings) and painter B (the remainder).BibliographyH.
