Mentions drawing up of a contract of hire and the receipt of payment: قد شهد عليه بالكرى واكتبه عليه واستوفى الكرى 'he has testified to the fact that he has given in lease and he has had a document written concerning this and has collected the full rent from him'. Verso: Text opens after basmala with long blessing formula: (حفظك الله و ابقاك اتم نعمه عليك و كرامه لك فى الدنيا وا(لاخرة. The writer notifies the addressee about the arrival of a messanger sent by the addressee.
