Notlar The recto opens part way through Judah ha-Levi’s poem אחר גלות סוד, which he wrote in honour of Moses ibn Ezra. Stanza ends are demarcated using line spaces, and a symbol resembling a kaf with dageš lene. The verso opens with the final stanza and ח׳רג׳ה (in Judaeo-Arabic) of the same poem. Then follows a brief Judaeo-Arabic introduction to the next poem: וקאל אבו הרון בן עזרא ז׳ל׳/ מאדחא למ׳ יהודה הלוי ש׳צ׳. The honorifics following the names suggest that the fragment (or at least the Vorlage from which the copy was made) was written after the death of Moses ibn Ezra, but before the death of Judah ha-Levi; that is, between 1136 and 1141. This is followed by the opening lines of Moses ibn Ezra’s poem במגורי ידידי אריד, which he wrote in honour of Judah ha-Levi. Ca. 12th century.
