Notlar Bible commentary, dealing with mourning. Includes a discussion on whether the yešivot are closed during the period of mourning for a sage, for the Av Bet Din, for the Nasi, or for the Rayyīs al-Mathība. Quotes from Yehudai b. Naḥman Gaʿon that one does not recite the blessing for the mourners on a Sabbath; and also from Saʿadya that a mourner recites the Grace after meals to himself and recites the blessing אל אמת דיין אמת in place of the blessing הטוב והמטיב.
