Notlar The binding is currently preserved in a white paper wrapper; the doublures are of plain red leather with a twin thin gold line around the edge. Two sarlauhs, p. 1 (85 x 118), over the start of the preface, and p. 18 (84 x 126) over start of poem, the latter a later effort, not completed, with a floral design in indian ink and pale green. The first sarlauh is of crude design but quite neat execution, featuring a band of decoration in gold, orange, pale green and royal blue. Other decorations are minimal: the margins are ruled in blue, space, crimson, the columns are two crimson lines well spaced, and the box for the rubrics a single line, with the text headings in the same colour and in the same nasta'liq hand as the text.Initial investigation and photography by Amin Mahdavi; measurements from sample p. 134.For a detailed description of this ms. and its illustrations, see S.A.
