Notlar	Most probably a Mughal copy of 1550s of the Dust Muhammad painting in the Houghton Shahnama, with several variations. Quite different to that in the Sadruddin Agha Khan collection.The birds in colour inserted in the gold marginal drawings are typical of the Jahangir album. (Sheila Canby)

No lines, page framed in plain brown paper in the last century and bound in an album - now disbound. A large painting, golden frame, floral border with birds in it. NB the photo is identifed in the Library as Lib. pict. A 117, f. 14r. Unlike trhe origial painting, in the Aga Khan Collection, the apple does not have a worm in it.Location in text:Mohl 21, The Ashkanians (200 years), first line: None, break line before: None, break line after: None, last line: None.
