ملاحظات	رسالة عائلية من ناثان ب. صموئيل، مدير مدرسة في بلدة صغيرة، إلى أبي الحسن في العاصمة (مخاطبًا الكنيس البابلي) يطلب منه التسامح بعد أن قيل له بعض الكلمات غير الودية. يصف الكاتب معاناته، موضحًا أنه اضطر إلى رهن الملابس لتغطية تكاليف العطلة. كما ينقل تحياته إلى يحيئيل “القاضي الكبير” (يحيئيل بن اليقيم، نشط 1224-1233 م)، وإلى عدد آخر مثل الست سعادة، أخت الكاتب وزوجها أبو البهاء وأبي نصر، والعديد من أفراد الأسرة الآخرين.
