Sample Text
Sheikh Najm al-Din al-Kubri said: The law is like a ship, the path is like the sea, and the truth is like a pearl. And whoever wants wealth boards a ship and then embarks on the sea, he reaches the pearl... The first thing that is obligatory for the student is the law, and what is meant by the law is what God Almighty and His Messenger have commanded, such as ablution, prayer, fasting, paying zakat, Hajj, and abandoning what is forbidden... — ... ... and the fasting of the method is abstaining from illusions, preoccupation with love for the Lord of humanity, the zakat of the law is half a mithqal in every twenty, and the zakat of the method is half a mithqal. With every money, even if you see a person flying in the air, walking on the sea, eating fire, and other things that are attested to by the miracles... and God knows best.
