Al-Qurtubi said: Except for one verse of it, which is the Almighty’s saying: (Indeed, God commands you...) It was revealed in Mecca in the year of the conquest of Uthman ibn Madun, and it was said that it was revealed when he migrated, peace be upon him, from Mecca to Medina... - And it was said: It means except what was from Jacob, peace be upon him, for it combined Leah, the mother of Yehudah, and Rachel, the mother of Joseph, and they were sisters. It was completed.
