Basmala... Praise be to God who has sent at the beginning of every hundred years someone to renew the matter of its religion for this nation... This is a book in which I deposited thousands of prophetic words and various types of selected wisdom, in which I limited myself to brief hadiths, and summarized in it the most striking elements of the effect, and went to great lengths in writing the graduation, leaving the peel and taking the pith... and I named it Al-Jami’ Al-Saghir from the hadith of the harbinger of tidings... - Asceticism in this world comforts the heart and body, and the desire for it. Anxiety and sadness abound, and unemployment hardens the heart. Al-Qada’i on the authority of Ibn Omar. The first part was completed with God’s praise, help, and good success, followed by the second part, beginning with the letter S. May God help us to complete it...
