Praise be to God, the master of the statement and his inspirer, the creator of creation and its destitute... Professor Abu Muhammad Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Al-Sayyid Al-Batalyusi said, “My purpose in this book is to explain the plan of the book marked by the etiquette of the writer... — ...and Ibn Jinni recited it with the non-lexicalized dāl, which is the correct one, God willing... Praise be to God alone, the book was completed, complete with blessings of happiness for its author... Ibn Muhammad Al-Zayyadi... in the early month of Rabi’ al-Thani of the months of the year 1026... And praise be to God first and last... Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds.
