Basmalah, praise be to God, the All-Knowing, Who has numbered what He has created, the All-Wise... And then I have represented in this book a verse from the Book of God Almighty and what is related to it in Arabic... and I have called it “The Chosen One” from what was mentioned in some of the verses of the Book. - According to the majority of commentators, and God knows best, the first part of the Book of Election was completed according to what was intended from the words of the Arabs and the verse of the Book, and it is followed in the second part, God willing, by His Almighty’s saying: O Children of Israel, remember My blessings which I have bestowed upon you, the verse, on the twentieth of the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal in the year five hundred and ninety-nine, and praise be to God and his prayers be upon our master Muhammad and his family.
