Notes
Praise be to God alone. May God’s prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad Lutfullah, the most happiest jurist, the most blessed, the best, the most honorable, the most glorious, Sir Siraj. May God’s peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you. May God’s mercy and blessings be upon you. May God’s mercy and blessings be upon you. May God’s mercy and blessings be upon you. We have learned of your knowledge of the case of the perished Abdullah and the assassination of his brother, and that he and his party were sent by two just officers to add to this aforementioned angle, so you raised the matter. His case to the Caliph in the legal rulings is this angle mentioned, so he gave permission to prove the purpose of the past, the Mawlawiyya, whoever acts on his behalf in this matter until the matter of the mentioned leader brother, whether he died or lived, becomes clear. And since the matter was in our hands with your presence, praise be to God for that, our master the judge did not submit to that other than us, so we submitted a legal submission, and all with your presence, God kept you for us as a refuge and we informed you of it so that the matter becomes mindful, and we, as you know from our condition in your love in your highest side, praise be to God for Your presence is ours, and here is the drawing that you will receive herewith, so read it. May God bless you and his face for us and your love and grace from you. Peace be upon you on the 13th of Safar al-Khair in the year 1290. And herewith is written in gold. Muhammad bin al-Hajj, son of al-Habti, may God grant him peace.
