Other correspondence is from the Indian Merchants' Chamber and Bombay Chamber of Commerce. The papers, many of them resolutions passed by the municipal councils, concern a range of matters, including: public health and sanitation, particularly the prevention of malaria; public lighting; correct markings for imported cloth; defaced coins in circulation; changes of personnel at the Manama Municipality. Folios 73-80 are internal office notes.
