The first matter relates to a financial claim being made by an Indian tailor residing in Bahrain, against an Anglo-Persian [Anglo-Iranian] Oil Company employee from Abadan in Persia [Iran], in which the British Vice-Consul in Mohammerah [Khorramshahr] is requested to intervene (folios 1C-15). The second matter involves an application and bond sent to the Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. in Bahrain (folios 19-21).
