The file also contains a limited amount of correspondence between the Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. in Muscat and the Sultan of Muscat and Oman, Sa'id bin Taymur Al Bu Sa'id, some of which is in Arabic (with English translations).
