This section includes original letters in Arabic from Shaikh Ḥamad bin ‘Īsá Āl Khalīfah, the ruler of Bahrain expressing his approval of this step. 2) attempts by British officials to find an appropriate candidate to hire as a 'factor' (or agent) to manage the estate of Shaikh Ḥamad bin ‘Īsá Āl Khalīfah, the ruler of Bahrain. Much of this correspondence relates to the references and backgrounds of a number of Indian candidates for this position.
