Code, or Record (al-Mudawwana), by Saḥnūn (d. 854). Codex, ink on paper, 73 folios, Arabic text in maghribi script, al-Mudawwana, by `Abd al-Salām ibn Sa`īd ibn Ḥabīb al-Tanūkhī, known as Saḥnūn (d. 854, Qayrawan), compendium of Imām Mālik's statement on the legal opinions of the Medina school, compiled and revised by Saḥnūn and three others, incomplete text, quires out of sequence, copied by Yūsuf ibn `Abd al-Jabbār ibn `Amr al-`Abdarī, Calatrava la Vieja (Qal`at Rabāḥ), Spain (al-Andalus), earlier sections dated Dhu'l-Qa`da 506H (fol. 3v) and Dhu'l-Hijja 506H (fol. 72r), main colophon (fol. 49v) dated Muharram 510H, May 1116. Another unbound part of this manuscript, signed by the same copyist and dated 1115 (509H), is also in this collection (CBL Ar 3006).
