Notlar	Three Folios from Juz' 17 of the Qur'an, donated to the Great Umayyad Mosque of Damascus in 911. These are the last folios from a Qur'an manuscript, that was part seventeen of a thirty-volume set. As the text ended, the artist added a double page of illumination to conclude the volume. The final page records that the full thirty-volume set was donated to the congregational mosque in Damascus in the month Dhu'l-Qa`da in 298H, the equivalent date for July 911. Codex, ink, colours and gold on parchment, 3 folios, Arabic text in kufic script, illuminated double finispiece (ff. 2v-3r), final verses of Juz' 17 of the Qur'an (sura 22:77-78), waqf notice (f. 3v) of donation in Dhu'l-Qa`da 298H (July 911) to the congregational mosque of Damascus, naming the donor `Abd al-Mun`im ibn Ahmad, Damascus, Syria, 911.
