| Notes | In the absence of the old and original vaqf deed a large number of properties are ascertained to be vaqf of the Kukaldash Madrasa (hukm-i subut-e vaqfiyat). The court relies on the testimony of Mulla Islam Akhund and Mulla Dust Muhammad Akhund and also names current lessees/tenants. Fond No. I-17.Op. 1. D.32601.A set of documents, prepared by Dr. Uktambek Sultonov (Tashkent Institute for Oriental Studies, Centre for Oriental Manuscripts) for asnad.org as part of a research project on the endowments of the Kukaldash Madrasah in Tashkent. His research stay in Marburg was funded by the DAAD. |
