| Notlar | With this treaty, the Grand Duke of Tuscany Leopold II and the Ottoman Sultan Abdul Megid Han intended to encourage economic exchanges between the countries. Tuscan citizens and ships were accorded the same privileges that those from other countries had received. The treaty also provided for some tax reduction in favour of Tuscan merchants. |
