Mehmet Halet's sealed memoirs stating that the Director of Harem-i Şerif-i Hazret-i Nebebi, Mustafa Efendi, while passing through Yanbu, mentioned that some orders were given to him from Istanbul to notify him about the hospital building, that a letter was written to stop the transportation of the iron found there until the notification of these from the Yanbu District Governorate, that the issue was clarified and that Şevket Bey owed money to the Ebniye-i Hayriyye Fund.
