Örnek Metin	This study has two main purposes: First, to demonstrate the change of mosque architecture in the UAE by chronologically following the selected examples from the first available mosque to the present day. The mosques in this sequence were selected and analyzed according to their architectural style, construction dates, and places and they were visualized within a taxonomy chart. This method was developed as an assessment to understand the development of mosque architecture in the UAE. The classification revealed that the mosque architecture in the UAE can be grouped within the four proposed periods. The second aim of this study is to investigate the design approaches of contemporary mosque architecture in the UAE. To this end, a case study was carried out for five contemporary mosques in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, built over the last decade. The five mosques were analyzed in terms of form, function, spatial arrangement and materials, and their architectural approaches were revealed through interviews with their architects. Besides, the analyzed mosques were compared with the architectural elements and qualities of traditional and vernacular mosques, and it has been tried to explain how and to what extent the design approaches were changed., Bu çalışmanın iki ana amacı vardır: Birincisi, mevcut ilk camiden günümüze kadar seçilen örnekleri kronolojik olarak izleyerek BAE'deki cami mimarisinin değişimini ortaya koymaktır. Bu izlekteki camiler mimari tavırları, yapım tarihi ve yerlerine göre seçilmiş ve analiz edilmişlerdir bir sınıflandırma grafiği ile görselleştirilmişlerdir. Bu yöntem BAE'deki cami mimarisinin gelişimini anlamak için bir değerlendirme olarak geliştirilmiştir. Sınıflandırma ile BAE'deki cami mimarisinin önerilen 4 dönem içinde gruplanabileceği ortaya koyulmuştur. Bu çalışmanın ikinci amacı, BAE'deki çağdaş cami mimarisinin tasarım yaklaşımlarını araştırmaktır. Bunun için, son on yılda inşa edilen ve Abu Dabi ve Dubai'de bulunan beş çağdaş cami için bir vaka çalışması yürütülmüştür. Camiler form, işlev, mekan kurgusu ve malzeme yönünden analiz edilmiş, mimarlarıyla yapılan görüşmelerle mimari yaklaşımları ortaya konmuştur. Ayrıca, analiz edilen camilerin geleneksel ve vernaküler camilerin mimari elemanları ve nitelikleriyle karşılaştırılmıştır tasarım yaklaşımlarının nasıl ve ne ölçide değiştiği anlaşılmaya çalışılmıştır.
