District Governor of the Fifteenth Cavalry Regiment, Şuayib Bey, was tried in the Court of War by all the persons involved in the incident for the crimes of selling the animals, tobacco and rifles confiscated from the public after the Yenişehir invasion, through his relatives, the Fifteenth Cavalry Regiment's Lieutenant Ismail and the battalion imam Ziya Efendi, and for beating and insulting the Guest Lieutenant Colonel Abdülaziz Efendi.
