Notlar	Ms. codex.Title supplied by the cataloger.Copied by Aḥmad Yaʻqūb and completed on the 15th of Shaʻbān 741 (1341) -- colophon (fol. 78b).21 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Foliation in Western numerals in pencil. Thick dark cream glazed paper with laid lines and some irregular chain lines visible. Substantial marginal annotation throughout. Some water and animal damage to paper, most of it at the start, with some repairs and some loss of text. Ff. 1a and 79a-80b are of later date, and have numerous short inscriptions in later hands.Incipit (as extant): كتاب الطهارة قال الله تعالى يا ايها الذين آمنوا اذا قمتم الى الصلوة فاغسلواExplicit: وفى غنم مذبوحة فيها ميته هى اقل تحرى واكل فى الاختيار - New binding in green buckram with envelope flap and an embossed gold 'branch' motif in the centre of upper and lower covers. Endleaves in grey mottled paper. Label on upper cover: "Thānī 292". - A work on fiqh, an epitome of the work called al-Hidāyah by ʻAlī ibn Abī Bakr al-Marghīnānī (d. 1196 or 7). This copy lacks the introductory section (a couple of pages).
