The Indiana University Library

Indiana University Libraries (IUB) is one of North America's largest and most innovative academic research library systems. The flagship of the system is the Herman B Wells Library, one of the symbols of the campus with its limestone architecture and home to millions of volumes. This library consists of two main sections: the West Tower (Learning Commons), which offers collaborative study spaces for undergraduate students, and the East Tower, which houses large collections for researchers. The system also includes the world-famous Lilly Library, which is home to priceless rare works such as the Gutenberg Bible and Ian Fleming's James Bond manuscripts, the William and Gayle Cook Music Library, one of the largest in its field, and many branch libraries specific to disciplines such as law, geology and education. IUB Libraries, which provide access to more than 10 million materials in total, are also known for their robotic storage facility (ALF) and extensive digital archives.
