Mus. Suppl. 488 (Brockelmann, GAL, II, 54, 13: no. 3). There is, however, a slight difference between this and the Brit. Mus. ms.: the present ms. does not contain the conclusion which contains the title and authorʼs name, but continues until 28 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 901 (death of Qāʼitbāy), while the Brit. Mus. ms. concludes with the year 896 H.According to colophon (fol. 107a) this chronicle (which begins with Adam) forms the first juzʼ of the entire work, the second part being a biographical dictionary.Incip.: ... الحمد لله على ما انعم به علىنا من جزىل آلائه ... اما بعد فهذه اوراق تتضمن طرفا من ذکر التارىخ ترتاح لسماعه القلوب ... لخصته على سبىل الاختصار
