Inscription on folio 30b.Collation: Paper ; fol. 30 ; foliation in ink using Hindu-Arabic numerals ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.Layout: 11-13 lines per page.Description: Fully vocalized ; MS in fair condition, mended. The first folio is defective.Origin: According to colophon copy completed 14 Ramaḍān 684 by Aḥmad ibn Ibrāhīm ibn Muḥammad ibn Idrīs ibn Bābā Jūk (fol. 22b).Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم قال الشيخ الامام الاوحد العلامة شيخ الاسلام بركة الشام تاج الدين ابو محمد بن ابي حامد بن حامد الشافعى ... لرب العلى حمد تضوع مندلا وشكر لما اولاه ثم علي الولا اصلي علي خير الانام ...Colophon: نجزت نظم اللالي کتابة ولله الحمد والمنة في رابع عشر رمضان سنة اربع وثمانين وستمائة کتبها العبد الفقيرالى الله احمد بن ابراهيم بن محمد بن ادريس بن بابا جوك عفا الله عنه - Later type II (with flap) binding in brown leather and paper. Flap is missing. - A metrical treatise on the laws of inheritance according to the Shāfiʻite school. The work is also known as al-Jaʻbarīyah fī al-farāʼiḍ.
