Notlar	Copied A.H. 1147 [A.D. 1734].Fols. 36; 31.7 x 21.7 cm.; written surface 23.3 x 12.7 cm.; 17 lines to page; on glazed Arabic paper; in good naskhi; with vowel signs; with catchwords.Marginal notes and glosses; ruled marginal lines in red and green. First and last verses on every page, except on the last folio, are in red; middle verses are in green and defaced; headings of chapters and some verses in yellow. On the last folio four colors are used interchangeably; illuminated asterisks between the hemistiches. On folio 33 is a statement that this marks the end of one MS from which ours was copied and the beginning of another. After the colophon are three lines which are obliterated. On the folio after colophon occur concentric circles, in the center of which is the inscription, ʻʻIn the name of Allah the Compassionate, the Merciful,ʼʼ besides two verses, the name of an owner and a date, A.H. 1249 [A.D 1833]. On the title page is a statement that this MS changed hands A.H. 1122 [A.D. 1710] and a note on al-ḥasan al-Baṣrī. On the folio before the title page are several verses. MS in good condition except for some folios which are worm-eaten and mended; western binding.Acquired from Brill, Leyden, A.D 1900.
