Some spaces meant for an illustration are left blank (see fol. 89b). Interlinear and marginal glosses written by the same hand. The last words of the verso are repeated at the beginning of the opposite recto. On fol. 1a: Several inscriptions; verses of poetry in Persian ; Kabīkaj. Verses of poetry in Persian in a note on the margin of the colophon (fol. 99a). Foliation in pencil using Western numerals.Two labels pasted on the upper cover, one with the inscription "215" in Arabic numerals, the other with the inscription "Riyāḍiyāt 51" in Arabic script. Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "1107/2 Ḥāʼ".According to a note on fol. 1a, the copyist Muḥammad ibn Ḥājjī [...?] started his work on 1 Muḥarram 1056 in al-Madīnah al-munawwarah. The copy was completed on 3(?) Jumādá II of the same year (colophon, fol. 99a).Incipit: الحمد لله الذي جعل الشمس ضياءً والقمر نوراً وبسط على بساط البسيط ... وبعد فلا اقسم بمواقع النجوم ... [3أ] ... الحمد هو الثناء باللسان على الجميل لله عَلم للواجب الوجودExplicit: من دقايق الساعات على ما ذهب اليه التبانى كما لا يخفى على من له درجة فى الحساب والله اسرع الحاسبين - Green cloth over pasteboards. - Commentary on a work on astronomy by Maḥmūd ibn Muḥammad ibn ʻUmar al-Jighmīnī (d. after 1221) entitled al-Mulakhkhaṣ fī ʻilm al-hayʼah. According to a note written by the copyist on fol. 1a, this copy comprises the gloss by [ʻAbd al-ʻAlī] al-Birjandī.
