Notlar Ms. codex.Title from fol. 2a.Copying was completed on the 28th of Ṣafar 1104 (1692) and the copy was collated with the author's own manuscript -- colophon (fol. 61a).21 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Foliation in pencil in Western numerals. Glazed European paper. Fol. 2a has a table of contents, listing 5 different items, one of which is the Kitāb al-Īḍāḥ, and a number of short inscriptions and ownership statements, dated variously between 1110 and 1160 H. Fol. 2b has an ownership seal in the name of Aḥmad Rifaʻat.Incipit: الحمد لله الذى شرع لعباده الاحكام ... اما بعد فيقول العبد الفقير الى مولاه القدير عبد الغني النابلسيExplicit: مع اشتغالنا بالدروس و المطالعة نفع الله تعالي بها اخواننا المسلمين والمسلمات وختم لنا ولهم بالحسي والحمد لله ... امين - Red leather with envelope flap. Blind tooled panel design on covers made with a wide guilloche and fillets frame, 8 flower corner pieces and a central mandorla with pendants. Same design on envelope flap. Endleaves in burgundy and brown marbled paper. Lining to fore-edge flap in green paper with a flower pattern painted in black and purple. Lining to the envelope flap in cream paper. Label on upper cover: "Majmūʻat rasāʾil lil-Nābulusī". Second label on upper cover: (in Arabic) "489, 114". - A treatise on religious aspects of listening to musical instruments.
