Notlar Ms. codex.Title from title of first text, from a partially erased ownership statement on fol. 2a.Physical description: 19 lines per page. Written in medium small nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red. Cream European paper with watermark. Fol. 1 and 112-113 are later additions. Several inscriptions on fol. 1a-2a, including ownership statements. Stained with dampness.Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Naḥw thānī 88". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "1117/2 Ḥ". Inscription in Arabic numerals in pencil on fol. 1a: "132".Origin: According to colophon, copy of Text 1 completed early Muḥarram 1002 [Oct. 1593] (fol. 102b). The other texts of the volume appear to be by the same hand. - Dark brown leather over paper pasteboards. Gold-stamped scalloped central mandorla outlined in gold with radiating flecks. Outer border consists of a single fillet in gold with dots with flecks on the inner side. Traces of a now wanting flap. Paper pastedowns. - Collection of short treatises of mixed contents. Ends abruptly on fol. 108b.
