The text is framed within two red lines and one single black line, the later with an extension on the outer edge (yellow line added on fol. 1b-2a). European glazed paper with watermark. Titles repeated on the margins. Catchword on the verso of each leaf. Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥāʼ 586". Some leaves loose.Copy completed by Yaḥyá ibn Ibrāhīm ibn ʻAbd Allāh (one line obliterated before the name of the copyist, colophon, fol. 196b).Incipit: الحمد لله ذى الطول والآلاء وصلّى الله ... اما بعد فان شرف المطلوب بشرف نتآيجهExplicit: اعاننا الله واياك على القول بالعمل وعلى النصح بالقبول وهو حسبنا ونعم الوكيل آمين الهم آمين - Modern binding with four sewing stations. Central blind-stamp on both covers. Gilt stamps on the spine. Gilt title in Arabic script (vertical). - Elegant copy of a treatise on religious adab. The text is followed on fol. 197b by a poem (28 lines) presented as al-Qaṣīdah al-farīdah attributed to Ibrāhīm ibn Muḥammad al-NʻMī, written by another hand.
