Gold-stamped with a central oblong piece, outlined in gold extending to three-lobed lotus pendants on the vertical axis. The outer border consists of a guilloche outlined in gold with a small rosace in the inner corners. Paper pastedowns. Endbands. Possibly a type II binding missing its flap. - Elegant copy of a collection of traditions from Bukhārī and Muslim, with traditions from the Kitāb al-Shihāb by al-Quḍāʻī (d. 454/1062) and from the Kitāb al-Najm by al-Uqlīshī (d. 550/1155) (GAL).
