Title on lower edge.Collation: Paper ; fol. i + (2) + 104 + i ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.Layout: 19 lines per page ; frame-ruled in gold and black with outer frame line in red ; ruled for marginal comments on a slant.Description: Rubricated ; overlining in red ; watermarks (roman-alphabet letters "AS") ; MS in good condition.Decoration: Elaborate illuminated headpiece in gold, orange, blue, pink and white (fol. (2)b). Illuminated headpiece in orange, gold, pale blue and pink (fol. 33b).Origin: [Āṭahʹlī ʻalá al-ʻAwāmil] Copied 1173 (fol. 32a).Incipit: [آطه‌لي على العوامل] بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الحمد لله الذى جعل العالمين المعاملين فائزين و وعد بقبول اعمالهم مخاصين له الدين -- [معرب العوامل] بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الحمد لله الذى رفع السموات بلا عماد وخفض الارض ونصب الجبال لابتفاع العبادColophon: [آطه‌لي على العوامل] وتم كتابة كتابى تخط جميل بجهد كثير وعجز طويل اجاف من الموت اذا اجاني يوما يباع كتابى بشئ قليل سنة 1173 -- [معرب العوامل] وقد وقع الفراغ من كتابة هذا الكتاب من يد اضعف الطلاب ... و الحمد لله رب العالمين تمت الكتاب سنة - Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in brown leather. Blind-stamped and gold painted mandorla with gold-tooled pendants and painted outline in gold. Gold-tooled decorative edging. Similar decoration on flap. Silver-flecked yellow paper pastedown and flyleaves. - Two commentaries on the grammatical work ʻAwāmil al-jadīdah.
