European glazed paper with watermark. Catchword on the verso of each leaf. Foliation in black ink using Arabic numerals. Foliation in pencil using Western numerals. Kabīkaj on fol. 1a. Title on the lower edge of the text block. Two labels pasted on the upper cover, reading respectively: "Els 2471" in Roman script and "ELS no. 2741" in Roman script, followed by the title and the name of the author in Arabic script.
