Fol. 1b-2a frame-ruled with two gold bands and multiple lines in black and red. Gold headings and circles on these opening folios.Origin: Copy completed on 21 Rajab 1146 [Dec. 28, 1733] by Ismaʻīl ibn Walī al-Dīn (colophon, fol. 274b).Incipit: الحمد لله المنفرد باسمه الاسمي المختص بالملك الاعز الاحمى ... Gold-tooled and painted, with a central mandorla with two pendants on the vertical axis outlined in gold with radiating flecks, and an outer border consisting of fillets and a guilloche. Yellow paper pastedowns. Traces of a now wanting fore-edge flap. Upper cover badly damaged. Spine broken. - Elegant copy of a treatise on the devotional obligations of the Muslims towards the Prophet.
