Ḥājjī Khalīfah states that the author's work proper begins with Sūrat Hụd (XI); what precedes that is the compilation of the authorʼs son Pīr Muḥammad.Collation: Paper ; fol. xi + 417 + v ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.Layout: 31 lines per page ; frame-ruled in gold and black.Description: Rubricated ; watermarks (three hats, bird in a circle, sheep?; roman-alphabet initials with trefoil) ; MS in good condition.Decoration: Simple illuminated headpieces in gold (fol. 1b and 56b).Origin: According to colophon copy completed Rajab 1067 by Muṣṭafá... Ḥiṣarī al-Sharafī (fol. 417b).Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الحمد لله والسلام على عباده الذين اصطفى سورة فاتحة الکتاب ...Colophon: تم الکتاب بحمد[ا]لله وعونه وحسن توفيقه على يدالعبد الفقير المعترف بالعجز والتقصير مصطفى ... حصاري الشرفي. وقع اتمام هذه النسخة في وقت ضحوة الکبرى من رجب الفرد لسنة سبع وستين والف من هجرة من له العز والشرف - Later type II (with flap) binding in brown leather. Blind-stamped mandorla and blind-tooled edging on covers. Similar decoration on flap. Pink paper pastedowns; envelope flap lined with marbled paper. Endbands.
