Rare.Origin: According to colophon copy completed Monday middle of Rabīʻ al-Awwal 1051 by Zayn al-Dīn ʻAlī ibn al-Ḥusayn al-Banānī[?] (fol. 232a).Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ... الحمد لله الذي شرح صدور ارباب الاذهان لايضاح معاني الکلم ببديع البيان ...Colophon: قد اتفق فراغ تنميق هذه الحواشي على المطول المنسوبة الى الفاضل الرومي في يوم الاثنين اواسط شهر ربيع الاول سنة احدى وخمسين والف من الهجرة على يد اقل الخليفة بل اللاشيء في الحقيقة زين الدين علي بن الحسين البناني في دار السلطنة اصفهان حرسها الله من الحدثان اللهم وفقني وانفعني فيه انك على کل شيء قدير وبالاجابة جدير وصلى الله على خير خلقه محمد وآله اجمعين. م - Later type III (without flap) binding in brown leather. Spine and corners mended with red leather. Marbled paper pastedowns. Multi-colored endbands. - A gloss on al-Muṭawwal of Masʻūd ibn ʻUmar al-Taftāzānī, which is a commentary on Talkhīṣ al-Miftāḥ by Jalāl al-Dīn al-Qazwīnī, which in turn is an abridgment of Miftāḥ al-ʻUlūm, the famous treatise on rhetoric by al-Sakkākī.
