Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants and blind-tooled decorative edging on covers. Similar decoration on flap. Burghundy paper cutout design pasted on the inner edge of yellow paper pastedowns. Spine in poor condition. - The famous book Kalīlah wa-Dimnah, which is a translation, into Arabic from Pahlavi, of fables which are adaptations of the Indian tales of the Panchatantra originally brought from India in the time of Chosroes I.
