Final yāʼ generally dotted. Dark cream paper with large laid lines and fiber visible. Majority of quaternions. Several inscriptions on fol. 1a. Small pieces of paper placed between the original leaves, with annotations in Arabic and Persian by later hands. Several inscriptions on the doublure of the covers. Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals (omits first fol.; faulty from fol. 350 on).Origin: According to colophon of Maqālah 8, this was copied 10 Jumādá al-Ākhar 1026 [June 15, 1617] (fol. 281b).Incipit: بسم ... وبه نستعين المقالة الاولى فى الفصول التى لا يستغنى الطبيب الذي ليس بفيلسوف عن معرفتها لنلا يكون غفلا اذ اسئل عن شي منهاEnd as extant: حتى ينعم ويلين ثم يطرح عليه يسر من الخطى ومن اطراف الهذبا ويضرب ثم ياخد وهو فاتر فيضمد به الموضع \\ - Brown leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers.
