On folio before title page is a table of contents. On title page are four verses of poetry about the Yatīmah. Folios 19, 28-115, and 141-171 are on different paper (no watermarks) and by a much earlier hand, probably of the XIVth century. In these sections, the biographee's names appear also in roundels in the margin in red or green ink.Ms. codex.Origin: According to colophon copied Wednesday [1] Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1076 by Ibrāhīm ibn Sulaymān ibn Muḥammad ibn ʻAbd al-ʻAzīz al-Ḥanafī (fol. 177a).Title from title page (fol. 2a).Colophon: وکان الفراغ من اتمام انخرامات هذا القسم الثاني نهار الاربعاء غرة ذي القعدة سنة 1076 على يد الفقير ابراهيم بن سليمان ابن محمد بن عبد العزيز الحنفي واتمه لنفسه ولمن شاء الله تعالى من بعده. عفي عنهIncipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم. القسم الثاني يشتمل على محاسن شعراء اهل العراق - Later quarter-bound type III (without flap) binding in red leather and blue paper. Gold-stamped spine decorations. Multi-colored endbands. - An anthology of the poets of al-ʻIrāq, their anecdotes and history, including the founding of the Daylami dynasty 334 [946].
