Ḥāshiyah on the margins apparently by the same hand as the main text, attributed to Mehmet Efendi, ʻAlī al-Qārī, Qāsim Ḥanafī, etc. (stops after fol. 23b).Inscription in Arabic script on the pastedown of the upper cover: "30" ; inscription in Arabic script in red pencil on the recto of the first fly-leaf: "Raqm 186 ʻ".Origin: According to colophon, copy completed by Ḥasan ibn Ḥusayn al-ʻAsālī(?) in Qayṣarīyah madrasah ---? on Sunday 27(?) Jumādá al-Ākhar 1132 [May 6, 1720], "Yawm ʻīd al-Naṣārá" (fol. 39b).Incipit: قال الشيخ الامام فى عصره على التحقيق هادى البلغاء لمصباح الايضاح وتبيان التدقيق ... شهاب الدين ابو الفضل احمد بن الشيخ الامام نور الدين على بن محمد بن حجر العسقلانى الشافعى سقى الله سراه وجعل الجنّة ثنواه الحمد لله الذى لم يزل عالما قديرًا حيا قيوما سميعا بصيرا واشهد ان لا اله الا الله وحده لا شريك لهExplicit: مستغنية عن التمثيل وحصرها متعسّر فليراجع لها مبسوطاتها ليحصل الوقوف على حقايقها والله الموفّق والهادى لا اله الّا هو عليه توكّلت واليه انيب حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل تم تم تم - Half bound in red leather and marbled paper.
