Written in medium small naskh in black ink; larger script for headings. The text is partly vocalized ; yāʾ for alif maqṣūrah ; final yāʾ dotted. Cream paper, soft, with pulp visible. Fol. 1 and 98 are later additions (European paper).Collation: Paper, fol. 98 ; i (later added fly-leaf, with inscriptions) 1¹² 2-9¹⁰ 10⁴ i (later added fly-leaves, with inscriptions).Inscription in Arabic script on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Raqm 2 ʻ".Origin: According to colophon, copied by Aḥmad ibn Yūsuf ibn ʻAbd Allāh al-Yafnī(?), and completed in [Dhū] al-Ḥijjah 772 [1371] (fol. 97a).Incipit: بسم ... رب يسر قال عبدالله الفقير اليه الغنى به محمد بن ابي محمد بن ظفر عفا الله عنه ان شكر الله سبحانه لاسنى الملابس الفاخرة ... الحمد لله جاعل الصبر للنجاح ضمينا ... وبعد فان مما افضى بي اليهExplicit: واستدفع به فساد الخطاب كما استدفع به كساد الصواب واتوب اليه فهو الرحيم التواب - Quarter bound in yellow paper and red leather, with flap. Yellow paper pastedowns. - Mirror of prince. The text is preceded on fol. 2a-4a by a prayer entitled "Duʻā al-Sayfī". It is followed on fol. 97b-98b by several short texts and inscriptions by different hands, including the beginning of the same prayer and verses of poetry attributed to ʻAbd al-Ghanī al-Nābulusī.
