Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals (omits the first blank fol.). Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Ḥikmah 15". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥāʼ 345".Text 2 copied by Muḥammad Ṣāliḥ, known as Isḥāqʹzādah at the end of Muḥarram 1067 (colophon, fol. 94a). - Brown leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers and envelope flap. Both covers have a simple border of gold tooled fillets and a running pattern, with a small geometrical motif of gold tooled meshwork at the centre. The envelope flap has a similar border with a smaller meshwork pattern on its point. Brown leather doublure with a border of gilt fillets. Marbled paper free endpapers. - Commentary and gloss on Ḥikmat al-ʻayn by Najm al-Dīn al-Kātibī (d. 675/1276?).
